Abstract

¹æ¹ý: ¼­¿ï½Ã³» S´ëÇк´¿ø¿¡¼­ 10-19¼¼ÀÇ ¼Ò¾Æ¾Ï Ä¡·á Á¾·á ¾Æµ¿ 79¸í°ú ±×ÀÇ ºÎ¸ð 79¸íÀ» ´ë»óÀ¸·Î ÀÚ·á¼öÁýÀ» ½ÃÇàÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¾Æµ¿ÀÇ »çȸÀûÀÀÀº Koo¿Í Choi (1998)ÀÇ »çȸÀû ¿ª·® ôµµ¸¦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© ÃøÁ¤ÇÏ¿´°í, »çȸÀûÀÀ °ü·Ã ¿äÀÎÀº ½Åü±â´É, ¿ì¿ï, ÀÚ¾ÆÁ¸Áß°¨, ´ëóÀü·«À¸·Î ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
¼öÁýµÈ ÀÚ·á´Â SPSS 18 programÀ» ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© ±â¼úÅë°è, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, RegressionÀ¸·Î ºÐ¼®ÇÏ¿´´Ù.

°á·Ð: °¡Á·°ú Ä£±¸¸¦ Æ÷ÇÔÇÑ ¼Ò¾Æ¾Ï Ä¡·á Á¾·á ¾Æµ¿ÀÇ »çȸÀûÀÀ ÁõÁø ÇÁ·Î±×·¥ÀÌ ÇÊ¿äÇϸç, ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥Àº ¾Æµ¿ÀÇ ½Åü¡¤Á¤¼­Àû Ãø¸éÀÌ ¸ðµÎ °í·ÁµÇ¾î¾ß ÇÏ°í È¿°úÀûÀÎ ´ëóÀü·«ÀÇ »ç¿ë°ú ÀÚ¾ÆÁ¸Áß°¨À» ÁõÁø½Ãų ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï ±¸¼ºµÇ¾î¾ß ÇÒ °ÍÀÌ´Ù.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to assess social adjustment of childhood cancer survivors and to identify factors affecting social adjustment.

Methods: Data were collected from 79 childhood cancer survivors and his/her parents. The survey consisted of questions related to characteristics, physical functioning, depression, self-esteem and coping strategies. The Social Competence Inventory was used to measure social adjustment in the children.

Results: The level of social adjustment of childhood cancer survivors was 83.5 out of a possible 155. Physical functioning, depression, self-esteem, and aggressive or proactive coping strategies were associated with social adjustment. Only physical functioning independently affected social adjustment.

Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there are several factors influencing social adjustment of childhood cancer survivors, and therefore there is a need for programs that deal with all aspects of children¡¯s physical as well as emotional health in order to enhance their social adjustment.
